Our handcrafted makeup is made in small batches using primarily natural, organic, high quality ingredients that are ethically sourced. We strive to be free of the most damaging synthetic chemicals, parabens, and sulfates. Unlike mass produced makeup, we emphasize customization we hear directly from all of our customers of all ages and walks of life, not from a small, single audience focus group. Our batches are made small, so you always have fresh makeup with the latest innovations in skin care vs a 5 year shelf life where new innovations are delayed or take time to get into manufacturing. Additionally, we emphasize sustainability and use only materials that are either recyclable or made from recycled materials. We have over 50% of our products packaged in glass, which can be refillable.
Is handcrafted makeup suitable for sensitive or problem skin?
Yes, our handcrafted makeup is ideal for sensitive and problem skin as we do not use harsh synthetic ingredients that are made to extend shelf life and cheapen manufacturing. BeeZerts uses plant based oils that havenon-comedogenicproperties which means it will not clog pores, but seep into your skin and moisturize without causing acne, rosea, or chapping like synthetic moisturizers do. We use primarily mineral based pigments and 7 different types of clay to color and enhance our products. Our clays and colorants are cosmetic grade and free of heavy metals found in lower quality clays and minerals. We use high quality materials for collagen enzymes and peptides that are plant based, not from processed animals. We are also cruelty free where our testing is done by balancing PH formulas and tested by actually (willing) people to get the ultimate result. Handcrafted makeup means a real person making and bottling the lotions and oils, not an automated, nonpersonal product
